The Communications Coordinator has responsibilities across the whole spectrum of Cursillo activity in the diocese. S/he supports the weekend by making sure all handouts are available. S/he is responsible for determining the best method of conveying information and then ensuring that this is implemented efficiently in order to enhance Cursillo activities and promote Cursillo widely. The task of the Weekend Coordinator is to act as a link between the Lay Rector and the Servant Community ensuring that all tasks, which the community does to support the weekend are completed and that items prepared for the weekend are delivered to the Gophers. The Coordinator is also a valuable resource to the Lay Rector and Lay Director as experience of what is practically needed for a weekend is built up. The Weekend Coordinator helps to ensure that training and planning for the Weekend is completed on time. The Weekend Coordinator will also provide other resources for Cursillo as needed, liasing as necessary with members of the Communications Team and others.
